Budget & Meetings

What Does PTO Pay For?

The Indian Lake PTO raises nearly $80,000 a year to pay for everything from classroom technology, art and music supplies, school landscaping, and much more!

The ILE PTO Supports:

  1. Computer instructor salary (we love you Mrs. Weddle!).

  2. Computer maintenance and supplies.

  3. School playground landscaping and maintenance (i.e. mulch) and playground supplies like balls, nets, and outdoor benches and picnic tables.

  4. School security equipment like extra radios, security lights, walkie-talkies, etc...

  5. Art supplies, P.E supplies, etc..

Periodically, the ILE PTO Board Members meet to focus on both retrospective analysis of past events and planning for those upcoming. While these meetings are primarily geared toward Board members, attendance will remain open for others. Please keep in mind, the content discussed is primarily administrative and management-related to the PTO. If you are contemplating attendance and are unsure, we recommend you connect with a Committee lead. They can guide the appropriateness of these meetings for your particular interests or concerns, and suggest other forums better suited for discussing ideas, volunteering, and broader school-related matters.
