October Updates
We hope everyone enjoyed the Fall break last week, and can you believe it: Warrior Walk is right around the corner! This week (10/10-10/14) we’ve been collecting shoes for the Battle Of The Houses. Our school goal is to collect 1000 pairs of shoes. All shoes collected will be donated to Sumner County Schools Family Resource Center. We are looking for things like new/gently worn sneakers, tennis shoes, dress shoes, and regular sandals. Try not to bring in any high heels or sandals without a backing (think flip-flops). Shoes for Men, Women, children, and even infants are welcome! But before you bring them in, make sure they are clean, wearable, and don’t include more holes in them than when they were originally purchased.
Every pair of shoes brought in will give your child’s house a point; The more points for your house, the better!
Upcoming Events:
10/10-10/14: Battle of the Houses - Shoe Drive
10/13: Spirit Night - Sanders Ferry Pizza
10/20: 3rd Grade Performance 6 PM

As of noon today, 10/11, we have received over 175 pairs of shoes, setting us well on our way to reaching the 1000 pairs of shoes goal. There is still a long way to go, so keep bringing in those shoes to help us reach 1000!
